Episode 13: Reflection of Our World Language Classes with Bertha Delgadillo and La Maestra Loca

Reflecting on what worked and didn’t work too well in our classes helps us gain self-awareness and steer the wheel in the right direction if needed. And I cannot think of a better way to do this activity than with my great friends and colleagues Bertha Delgadillo and Annabelle Williamson (a.k.a. La Maestra Loca).

In this live conversation, Bertha, Annabelle, and I chatted about practices and strategies that worked very well in our classes like communication with parents, classroom jobs, and establishing routines that help us stay in the target language and manage our classes.  We also discussed how we can keep our students accountable and how we can move from whole-class discussions to small-group activities and circles.

I can’t WAIT for you to hear this conversation so without further ado, click play now!
